This home does the magic trick of being both cozy and impressive. The owners built it 20 years ago, and were ready to bring it up-to-date and add extra personality to an anything-but-boring timber frame beauty.

New windows on the main level frame spectacular mountain views from almost every room, and expanding the kitchen while removing a partial wall to the dining room, left the space open and connected for increased visibility and flow into the family room and existing river rock fireplace.
A true collaboration (during a pandemic and de rigueur Skype sessions), I found myself part co-conspirator and part editor as ideas and colors abounded! Wallpapers? yes please! Over a dozen paint colors? why not! And a bathroom tile layout that delights and dazzles, appearing to be random but every single tile was pre-planned and carefully placed for maximum impact.
This remodel and decorating project was joyful and brain-tickling, and I am grateful to have been a part of it and to count the couple as dear new friends-and hopefully partners-in-crime for future endeavors!
